Senior Services

The City of Hazel Park offers a multitude of programs and events for our senior population, including transportation services and a meal program.


Offered Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to Hazel Park residents age 55 and over, and the physically handicapped.  Cost is $1 per person for each one-way ride. Call (248) 546-4093 to be added to the mailing list.

Lunch is served Monday through Thursday around 11:00 a.m. Come enjoy a nutritious meal with your friends.  A $2 donation per meal is recommended.  Van service is available at no charge if you're unable to drive.

Chore Assistance Program
Senior citizens or others needing assistance with home maintenance can contact Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) for assistance (248) 542-5860.
